Can I change my iPod's screen to a iPhone's Screen?

History

Well, I just droped and fcked up the glass of my iPod Touch. Well isn't a real problem because the touchscreen still works :), so I m wondering about only replacing my iPods screen (LCD panel, "poor" compared to iPhone one wich it's an IPS panel...) of an iPhone's 4 panel.

It's that eventually possible?

No, because the connections are different sizes. This is just from what i can see. Panel on the left is iPod Touch 4th Gen and on the right is iPhone 4 panel.
