New Logicboard Installed, Drivers?

I Installed a new logicboard on my macbook pro,i get a kernel panic? Is it the hardware that doesnt recognize my logicboard? What can i do? Thanks.

I'd start with resetting the PRAM and SMC. Click here and click here for instructions on the resets. If that doesn't resolve the issue. I'd run disk utilities from your OS X install disk and repair the hard drive.

What are the last 3 characters of your serial number, please? What version of OS X are you running?

i bought the exact same logicboard as the original board,i don't have a operation system yet,i have a snow leopard bootcd and e blank hard drive with a mac os extended partition on it,sooo,i boot into the cd and i get a kernel panic saying cpu not supported? its a brand new logicboard!? someone help me out? need drivers for the new logicboard?its strange...? and i did reset all of it...;-)

I downloaded the smc firmare and the macbook pro2011EFIUP2.7...,

now i need to load that on the smc?
