Digitizers wont stay down properly

History

Hi,

Everytime I replace a digitizer and/or screen/digitizer on any ipod touch (any gen) the digitizers never go back on 'flush' they always start popping back up usually at the top. It has to be something i'm not doing right. can anyone help me please?

I have included a picture (uploaded to photobucket) so you can see what i mean.

Yeah, The battery was bulging a bit, so I put a small hole in the sticker of the battery to let the trapped air out.

Make sure you have all the screws in the proper holes, also check and see if the battery might have some air in it and it will push up on the metal shielding. Could also be bent corner or glass still on the sides.

thanks for the suggestions but none seem to apply in this case. i'm thinking maby the adhesive i use isnt probably too strong. il try some better adhesive and see what happens. thanks for your reply

if the adhesive is not holding while drying, Try wrapping the device with a few rubber bands while it drys can help.

if the itouch is not being put together correctly then you can ignore my answer above.
