Is it possible to find QNAP TS-409U replacement parts

Is it possible to find reasonable cost replacement parts for a 1U QNAP NAS device? A QNAP TS-409U, no device page for any QNAP stuff yet.

I could use a new power supply for this model I listed above and have not been able to find anything from regular searches. I will be calling around during normal hours tomorrow, but thought it could not hurt to ask and see if anyone had a online resource i am not aware of for a device like this. ( i would hope a power supply would not be terribly expensive, this is my fear and another reason i am asking) these types of devices are fairly expensive to purchase and of course replace if not repair is not possible.

Brian, sure looks like a proverbial needle in a haystack. Looks like the TS409-U uses a Channel Well Technology (CWT) PSM 200A-89. The QNAP part number is SP-5BAY-PSU. The only values I can find are:

Input:115-230V, 47-63 Hz, 3.0A

+5V 13A 65W max

+3.3V 17A 56W max

+12V 15A 180W max

-12V 0.3A 3.6W max

+5V 2A 10W max

Here are a few suppliers, depending on your region. Looks like it's popular in Europe (and expensive;) http://eng.estock.fr/basketadd.php?partn... Here is the one from Qnap http://shop.qnap.com/index.php?route=pro... The layout and a bit more data on the power supply from here http://www.cwt.com.tw/upfiles/layout0123... Hope this helps, good luck.

Hey

I'm looking to replace the PSU in my 409U as well.

I am currently running it off a standard ATX PC PSU.

any ATX 1U PSU of apropriate wattage will do.

I have ssen a few on e-bay which can be made to fit but I am yet to find one that will directly replace the 15cm model on the NAS.
