I cracked my iPhone's front glass. Being an adventurous man, I decided that if I was performing cirurgy on the devide, I should go all the way in and replace the back case, the battery and even the chrome bezel.

After doing so, I have what I consider a very alternative looking iPhone: bright orange in the back with a black bezel. The problem? The screen won't turn on. I know the iPhone is live since it reacts to being connected to the computer. It appeas listed on iTunes.

I've already tried the solutions suggested on iFixit (hard reset, removing battery again, reconnect the flex cables, etc). Nothing worked but at one point I got a white screen when the dock was connected.

One little aspect that can or can't be related: I changed the headphone/sleep button/ volume button part for another one from a gutted 3Gs. As far as I got to check, there was no difference in these two parts.

Does anyone has a an advice for this poor soul?

Thanks!
