8mp rear facing camera repair manual
Hello there,
I see in your repair manual list that you have a front facing camera repair brake down but there is nothing for the rear facing camera.
I'm not looking to replace the lens but rather the actual camera itself, and since I am fairly new to all things DIY I'm asking could you please help? Thank you.

I would like to refer you to this answer. Unfortunately, it looks as though the camera is soldered to the mother board. This makes repair extremely difficult, though not impossible. There are many solder points and you would have to flow them all simultaneously to remove the old camera without incident. I definitely don't recommend this repair for an inexperienced DIYer. Try to find a friend that is well versed in electronics repair that may have the tools to do this.
