no ZG5 power, power supply good

No power light/no power at all. The power supply lights up green. When first plugging in the power to the Aspire One ZG5 there is a very short (one second) orange battery light. Tried the above, FN & Esc and hitting power, etc.

No success.

Help !

Check the plug from your power supply to the computer and see if you have a voltage of DC 19v.

Oldturkey, yes i have 19v DC, thanks for responding. I assume it is related to the mboard or something I can't fix. I downloaded the manual to disassemble it but not sure what to look for now.

Check the DC adapter on the board. Use your voltmeter and see if you have power coming to the board.

So evidently to check the DC Adapter, I will have to open the notebook I assume. I might not have it after tomorrow so will need to know soon.

Barry, yes that is correct. You would have to open it up to see if you are getting power to the board.
