I cannot get the remotes to work. 4 lights are blinking

History

I turned on my unit and the remotes would not function. I tried changing the batteries, and that didn't help. I reset the unit, but the unit is working-the remotes are not in sync or something. Please help.

have you checked that the receiver bar on top of the tv is plugged in to the back of the wii? maybe the lights are flashing because no signal is getting to the console.

I would definitely check how the sensor is hooked up, as per pollytintop's instructions. It sounds as if the remotes are trying to sync to the unit. Try the remote/receive association procedure that should be outlined in the user manual.
