PRAM batteries on 24 inch intel iMacs Soldered in?

İ was just told by an Apple authorized service technician that the PRAM batteries on 24 inch intel iMacs were soldered in. Could this be true?

No, they just slide out to the side of the plastic holder which will snap off in a New York minute if upward pressure is put on it. I know, I snapped one off.
