Alternative for Thermal Pads at Home

Can I make Thermal Pads from Home material or Store material. Because I can not find any Thermal Pads at Stores.

Thermal pads do two things...they're soft so they squish to conform to two parts being pressed together and they transfer heat REALLY well. To my knowledge, no home materials have such properties. Is there no electronics store near you? Have you considered just ordering online? Thermal paste is another option. We personally like Arctic Silver and carry it.

Well we have a Radio Shack and that's where I got the thermal paste but they did not have thermal pads.
