My Volume Up Button is not working, but my Volume Down works.

My volume up button is not working, however my volume down button is working fine. What could be the problem?

Sometimes this part breaks because it is a bit fragile. I am sure it is the cable since the button itself seldom breaks. There is a cable that is connected to the volume buttons, headphone jack and power button. You will have to change this cable. It is not difficult. Just take your time. Here is the part:
