Is it possible to replace front bezel without removing display?

I need to replace the front display bezel on my Macbook A1181 which has gotten damaged - is it possible to replace this without having to remove the display entirely?

I read through the tutorial on this site which is great, but I think that it looks like a big job for me, just wondering if I could pop the old bezel off without taking the whole laptop apart?

(I have done minor tinkering previously, without any problems, but so far only replacing the hard drive and memory)

Thanks for your advice

Yes it is possible. Here is a guide for replacing the inverter on this quickly. I know you are not interested in replacing the inverter. But the bezel needs to be removed to do that job. I only provided you a link to that guide to show you that what you ask, can be done.

Just follow steps 35 - 40 in the iFixit Installing MacBook Core Duo Front Display Bezel guide you previously viewed. That will get you through it.
