Why is It that only some keyboard buttons work?

History

My MacBook Pro 17' Uni Keyboard is not allowing me to type all of the letters or use the delete button. Wondering what the problem could be or what I need to do to fix it.

Try to turn it off and boot it up while holding the shift key to see what happens. Then tell your results.

I've had a similar issue before, are you using a wireless mouse or keyboard. I just did the system updates and it fix my keyboard problems.

Go to the the "Apple" menu on the top right corner and select "software updates..."
