navigation not working anymore.
My car has a built in navigation system and it requires a cd to work and now when i put the disk in the car is just stuck on the start up its a old cd could that be the problem why? do i need a update?

You can probably take it to your dealer and they'll do it for free. Most high-end cars (even some lower end too) such as Mercedes and BMW specifically say that when an upgrade to the navigation software comes out, you can go to the dealer to get the upgrade, often for free or the cost of the DVD.
When you say it is an old CD, do you mean scratched old, or just old? If it is scratched etc. it is possible that it just can't be read. I would start with a known good CD and take it from there.

true but do you think theres a problem with the navigation system because it can read other cds like music.

If it reads the others, I would start with a newer copy of your software and see what happens. Is it the original MB navigation system?

yes but i have two of them and both of them wont work i forgot to add that.

any chance that your dvd region code was changed?

yes theyre all the original copy is there any way to get them for free and burn it onto a dvd?
