Is there any way to recover my saved game data from PS3
I was going to get rid of my ps3 before and I ended up going to format utility in the settings menu and formatted my hard drive, I decided to keep it and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get my saved game data back onto the ps3. I did not save any information to a backup device. What can I do? Can someone please help me.

From what I gather, you won't get that data back. Even with a docking station, your HDD wont be read by either Linux, Mac, or Windows. The HDD is in a format which is specific to the PS3, its not FAT32 so it can't be read by any PC. The data recovery or HDD utilities might detect the HDD,however you won't be able to view or recover any data. I am sure you also know that the HDD is specific to the PS3 which formatted it, so if you were to put it in a different PS3, it would automatically format it. Sorry, but I Hope this helps.
