Turntable not working in GE Spacemaker?

The turn table on our GE microwave stopped working. Is there any way to repair it? the microwave is a GE Spacemaker model JVM1440WH04. It has an integrated exhaust hood.

Davor, I usually suggest that microwaves are repaired by professionals only. Those things can kill you....anyhow, check the center part below the turntable tray. It is called the turntable coupler and should be attched to the turn table motor. It may be that the coupler is off or that the motor is defective. I would suggest to either have a professional fix it or to replace your microwave....

A quick search revealed that this particular microwave does have parts in stock at a number of vendors! I second oldturkey03's advice to leave it to the professional, microwave ovens store very high voltages in large capacitors, and have killed before.

If you feel up to the task however, you are looking for Part Number PS237772 - or item number 43 on the following diagram:

Keep in mind that some troubleshooting is in order, the drive motor is usually activated by a relay on the logic board, so be sure to check that as well.
