Connector to Display (connector 1) broken - which replacement?

History

iphone 3GS

Hey guys,

unfortunately I broke the connector labeled (1) that goes to the display. Consequently, my display went black, everything else is working.

Question is, do I need to buy a whole display with digitizer + lcd

or can i buy the lcd only? is it very fickly to remove the old display from the touchscreen?

To put it differently: I'm looking for the cheapest way to fix the (1) connector

thanks

The LCD display is fairly inexpensive. If you are looking for quality, get it

from here. For something a lot more frugal, you could get something like this. The guide to repair it is right here Installing iPhone 3GS Display Hope this helps, good luck.
