replace the display unit to an 2010s Display

History

I want to replace the display unit of my Macbook Pro late 2008 (MB470*/A) to a display unit of an macbook Pro 15 mid 2010 (MC371LL/A)

Will it Work?

With Display unit i mean the hole Display, with Camera, Case and hinges....

Thank you for the fast response. And which Years i can add? Whats with the early and late 2009s? thanks a lot if you could give me an answer.... :)

Daniel,

The early 2009 will interchange with the late 2008. Other than that there are no years you can exchange the entire upper part of the laptop with. The hinges are situated slightly different after early 2009.
