just replaced headphone jack and hold button but still no sound

My iPod hasn't been playing music for some time now. The clicker still makes noise and I can hear feed back when I plug in the head phones, but when I play a song I don't hear any sound. My library is all there so I don't think it's a harddrive issue. does anyone know what the problem might be? Is there anywhere where I could send it to get refubished?

It sounds stupid, but make sure your volume is not down.

Hi

try to play music via the dock connector. If there's no sound either, you most likely have a bad logic board. I've had the same issue with one of my iPods, all i could hear was a very faint sound when set to max. volume.

Check the old headphone jack to see if the tip is broken off.
