Power switch is destroyed, can replace?
Hello (Sorry for my poor english)
My Nexus One power switch was more and more hard to use. Today I can't start my phone.
Does someone know how is made this switch ? (weak rubber ? something can move in ?) and maybe if there is a trick to start my phone by another way ?

Adanorm, your english is fine. take a look at the teardown of your phone at http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nexus-One... First make sure that there is nothing wrong with the actual button. It may have gotten stuck or dislodged. After that take a look at the logic board where the switch is, I would think that it may be somewhat difficult to get a direct replacement, but you may find some microswitch that works from companies like mouser.com etc Once you have your phone apart, take a picture of the switch and lets see if we can help you find what you need. Oh yes, also make sure that clean your switch and logic board with some isopropyl alcohol, preferably over 90% Hope this helps, good luck.
