replaced digitizer still no go

Hi Guys,

I have replaced a broken lcd and Digitizer on a 3rd gen touch, lcd is working fine but the digi is not, also I have a used one thats no go as well, any ideas please ?

I'm fairly new at this, but I would make sure that you didn't forget to plug in the flex cable from the Digitizer in the top left corner of the iPod from the home button. When I fixed another iPod, it looked like it would "snap in" when I snapped in the screen, but that is not the case.

Other than that, you might have gotten a busted/broken Digitizer for the replacement.

I have one new one and 1 used, I doubt they are both screwed, the points are all connected, I have fixed a few so I am not like a beginner but I have never come across this problem before, but thanks for your reply anyway.
