iPhone is showing charging is not supported with this accesory
when ever i try charging my iphone 4 either on the wall or computer i get a message saying charging is not supported with this accessory i tried buying a new cable and it still displays the message i tried several cables and it still displays that message i even tried restoring the phone it still syncs with itunes but doesn't charge whats wrong with my iphone?

This usually is docking error..either your pins in the iPhone are dirty ( take a look and use a tooth pick to clean out lint) or there is damage from moisture. If you can try turning phone off and use isopropyl alcohol (highest % you can get) or electronic cleaner, use old soft toothbrush and give pins a little clean. If that still doesn't work the you'll need to replace your dock connector in the iPhone.

I found that when plugging the USB connector into the MacBook Pro or the wall charger it is important not to push the USB connector all the way into the USB port. For some reason. when it is pushed all the way in, the error message "charging not supported" comes up. When I get the message I disconnect and re-connect pushing it in just far enough to connect and it works. I do not get this message with the car charger.
