If the panel matchs the model type, does the screen model matter?
macbook a1342 late 2009
I recently broke my new mac book 13" panel screen, there is a HUGE crack on the laptop and I need to replace the screen. I literally bought it a month ago so its the most recent macbook. My question is, the panels model code is 6615588, will the panel type suggested on the parts page for this laptop work for my laptop?

If this is what you're talking about about, yes it will work:
MacBook Unibody (Model No. A1342) Display Assembly
Includes LED assembly and iSight Camera. — 3 available at 499.95 each.
Apple MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.26 13" (Uni/Late 09) Specs Identifiers: Late 2009 - MC207LL/A - MacBook6,1 - A1342 - 2350*
There are three different screen makers, make sure you get an identical one, just check the numbers.
