GE Microwave Oven door not opening

History

Door for my microwave does not open any more. It is locked. How can I open it ?

I could open it by sliding a knife from the bottom of door where the latch is. the mechanical switch which opens the door is not able to work (not has enough force to lift the latch). also I can not open the metal cover of the microwave. Do I need to just get new microwave ?

It's to damgerous to repair. Just replace it.

I am certain that someone professional can repair it for you. On here, we all stay away from those, since we really do not like to die or have you die. Get a new one.....:-)
