Where can I buy the two SATA cables described in this guide?

Mac mini Model A1283 Terabyte Drive cables

Hello.

I recently read this great guide:

Mac mini Model A1283 Terabyte Drive Replacement

On page 6 there 2 cables being described which I wish to buy in order to do this "fix".

Mac mini Model A1283 Terabyte Drive Replacement

I have been to every computer shop in town, wanting to buy these cables, and none could help. I found the 15-pin SATA to MOLEX power cable, but the other cable described eludes me.

Would someone be so kind and send a link where I can purchase preferably both of these cables?

Living in Rotterdam, the Netherlands...

Thanks!

These would be the two cables that seemed to fit the description most.

Could anybody please confirm if these are the cables I am looking for? Welding and Installation are not a problem, but getting these parts surely is...

Hey Mayer,

thanks for the reply.

I of course did a google search before, but couldn't find this specific cable. This could be it (the seemingly ONLY match in terms of image and description anyway, and even there I am not sure...):

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...

The description states "7 + 15 pin", and when comparing to the image found in the guide, the connector looks a bit too big as well...

Is this the one?

The second "standart" 15-pin to 4pin MOLEX should be this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...

So, any help? Would be great to not open, weld, try - and then realize it was a wrong cable after all, and possibly damaging the data on the HD as well in the process due to wrong power supply!

More help is greatly appreciated as I can hardly wait to try this :-)

15 pin to 4 pin molex and 6 pin SATA to 4 pin molex as in my answer and in the guide

Please forgive my ignorance, but the only 6 pin SATA to 4 pin molex I can find anywhere have only 2 cables going to the MOLEX plug instead of 4 as described in the guide. Again, I can not find this cable. Any direct link to a webshop would be greatly appreciated!
