Can I use the back panel from a 5th Gen iPod Video?

I've had a broken 80GB classic buried in my closet that I found yesterday (I think it came with a lot of broken iPods that I bought a while ago, and didn't have the parts to fix at the time) It has a bad hard drive, and I left it partially disassembled, because I pretty much destroyed the back panel when removing it. I have the back panel from a 5th generation iPod video, and was wondering if I could use that as a replacement, if I bought a new hard drive. (Though it would be improperly labeled) Also, can I use any size 1.8" ZIF hard drive, or am I limited to 80GB, 120GB, or 160GB? (Apple's limitations)

The back panel will NOT work since it has different clips and is of a different design. The 6th generation (Classic) and 5.5/5th gen (Video) hard drives are not cross compatible. The largest drive for that particular iPod, that I know of, is the 160GB due to the interface.

Replace the hard drive, you may fix it and yes, you can use the video's, I believe the headphone jack will work too

Harddrive wise, you can use any 1.8'' ZIF drive
