Where can I find a iPod Touch 3G glass screen cover?

History

I need to change only the glass, but for 3G I can't find it! Where will this be available?

so if i have a 32gb 3rd gen can i still use a 2nd gen digitizer and glass?

Usually ebay is your best bet, but if you have an 8GB 3rd gen, then you can use 2nd gen parts (this would then be the part you could use). If not, check ebay, and you should be able to use these 2nd gen installation instructions, won't be that different.

Thanx rab,

i didn't find it, only 2nd gen glass... i think it's too early because 3rd gen is almost new...

Yesterday i went to the Apple store in Milan and they confirmed me that Apple can't replace the glass in iPod touches, only iPhones... bleah!!!

I'll try again next month ;-)

Hi Rab,

yes, i live in Usmate (near Milan) and i work in Milan.

I have got a 32 Gb iPod Touch, my wife Christmas present...

p.s. also my wife come from Piemonte (Novi Ligure, a little town near Alessandria) ;-)

Ahh- I know that, I'm from a little town near AL. So you can't use 2nd gen glass with a 32 gig, you'll have to search more for 3rd gen glass unfortunately.
