Which drives display temperature in Lion?

History

From the 'temp sensor in mini' question we know we can use any HD SSD we want. But it looks like only certain drives offer up their temp to Lion.

Can we get a list of which drives do offer this up?

I'm planning on getting the server model and want to throw in a pair of the new 1TB drives out there.

SAMSUNG Spinpoint M8 HN-M101MBB

Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD10JPVT

I think it's important that Lion knows how things are going temp-wise so I'd like to get the right drives.

That is where tempature sensors come into play, they will monitor this for you, no worries!

Ah, that's the thing, the 2011 doesn't seem to use an external sensor but asks the drives. (SMART?) Someone mentioned putting an SSD in and not getting a temp and someone else threw in a spinner and did. So it seems to vary..
