What's preventing me from connecting to internet?

Need to know whats preventing my ps3 40gb model cechg01 from connecting to internet wirelessly or using ethernet cable? controllers take a while to pair with system also, anyone got any info?

You're going to have to give more information. It could be anything from your router to your PS3 itself. What exactly have you tried so far?
