Can't charge or Sync

History

My iPhone will not charge while its on; it will only charge if the device is completely shut off! Also I can't seem to get it to sync with my iTunes. I replaced the battery and the dock input! The phone works just fine, but I can't seem to figure out the problem!

First start off my making sure ribbon number 4 is fully connected. If that doesnt work you may need to restore your iPhone. Could you even do this due to the fact that you cannot sync with itunes?

Yeah ribbon was just bad. I replace the wire set and now it works great! Thanks for the help!

If the ribbon cable is ok - check if you broke that SMD element near Connector4:
