Charger orange light, battery doesn't charge, PB doesn't turn on
Not sure how many people are around to help with an issue like this, but here it goes...
Got a PB 15" 1.5Ghz a while ago with these symptoms. I tried replacing the DC-In board and no luck, and I'm 90% sure I tried a different charger.
Now I've just noticed that it's got DDR2 533 mhz RAM when it should have DDR 333, I don't have any of this to try so I tried taking them out and booting up, it should beep at me, right? Anyway the light is still orange on the charger.
Reset PMU, taken out battery (which is a cheap knockoff), my next bet is to replace the motherboard.
Any suggestions before I do this?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Before spending the money for a new logic board try just one stick of the correct RAM. You said you got it "with these symptoms", and listed no symptoms. You have a power supply that you don't know if it works and a knock off battery that you don't know works. RAM that you don't know works and you want to replace the logic board? You have to many variables to isolate a problem. Please tell us the symptoms before and after you replaced the DC-IN board.
