Power button don't work
I have an iPad 2 that after replacing the front panel, the power/sleep button stopped working. Here in Ifixit.com, we can't see where it's connected. Can anybody help me? Thanks.

I'm guessing you ripped the volume / power button flex cable.
Refer to this image:

Diagonally down from the red circle, there's a green strip with two orange conductors. This cable is not difficult to rip.
I haven't found a way to repair the cable because solder doesn't appear to stick, even after using sand paper on the surface. Your best bet is to buy a replacement flex cable, if that ends up being your issue.

You have torn the power, silent and volume flex cable. This is a common thing people do while opening the ipad. this flex cable is very fragile and it rips very fast. You will have to replace it.
