Display blinks & no output after LCD replacement

History

Just replaced the LCD screen & glass on this A1278 MB Pro Unibody. When I start it up, the screen blinks, but immediately appears to shut down. I also replaced the HDD.

I can hear the SuperDrive running, as well as the fans, and it sounds a lot like it's trying to install the OS. I have no luck with the hardware diagnostic displaying either.

Any ideas?

Never mind, I went back in & re-seated the video cable at the logic board, and that fixed it.

Lesson: DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR CABLES!!
