are you looking for the name of the airport card slot or the name of the connector for the wireless chip itself on the airport card? the airport card slot name is mini PCIe

Hi, I meant the airport connector (the whole board). It is not a standard PCIe like you can find in Half Mini Card for notebooks. I need the name/type of the one specially here. thanks

by digging through all documentation that i can find from Apple, it appears that it's a proprietary slot that is roughly based on the PCIe standard.

wow, good job Igor. I was not able to locate anything in Apple's documentations and reference materials, i never though to start looking in places like directly at Molex.
