HI Tao,

I'm assuming you're taking about your MacBook. If you replaced the LCD and it's still blank, then check your video cable connections. Make sure they are lined up properly and well seated.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help! But this question is about the nexus one cell phone

I also have this problem. What replacement screen did you buy? and did you ever solve this?

Hi Dennis,

your question is about a year old but it's happened to me too.

I ordered an SLCD screen and a Digitizer from Repairs Universe.

I changed both parts, reassembled correctly but the screen won't light up. I have the feeling that the digitizer works since when I try to boot the device, the small vibrator works well - like before - when I touch on the digitizer. The battery is full powered. The store told me to ship the screen back for testing.

Know that there are two types of HTC Google Nexus One:

The PB99110 and the PB99100.

With the PB99110, it's an SLCD screen while it's an Amoled screen for the other.

I double-checked the flex connections, all look good. There's no sign of wear or damaged parts.

I just don't understand why the screen won't work.

If someone can help,

I'd be grateful,

Tamatoa
