Replaced battery-camera not working now
Followed IFIXIT directions. everything works fine except the camera. The screen opens but the lens ( on the screen) does not open and the icon of the camera and the movie "flicker" I have taken the phone apart again down to the battery and reassembled everything.....

You may have just damaged your camera ribbon. Take things apart again, and make sure you snap the camera into the connector securely, THEN install the camera+board together into the housing. If that doesnt work, then try replacing the camera. When it is apart, inspect for any tears or kinks in the camera ribbon, it doesnt take much to render it damaged.
