Computer will start up, but wont do anything but restart.
I just bought this computer and it keeps on showing the image that " the starter could not start up becouse the following system library could not be found:drag--setdragimage. to start up use the cd or floppy disks that came with your computer. to start up from a cd, hold the "c" key while starting up, or consult the users guide that came with your computer."and it only gives me the option to restart. but it didnt come with anything like that it only came with the computer and battery/cord.wh

Hi, You need to obtain Operating System disk. You need to determine which model clamshell you have. The first version is USB only but the second version has firewire. The first version will only go to Panther (10.3) and the firewire computer will go to Tiger. (10.4) You need to buy a Retail copy of the software (Black disk) not a unit specific copy.(Grey) Insure you purchase software compatible with your computers optical drive. Both will take cd's but the firewire MAY take dvd's. Check and be sure before buying. When you have a copy of the operating system place it in the optical drive and start holding the C key until it boots from the cd. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the operating system and you should be good to go. The OS recommendations I made are for that highest OS you could use--you can use any between OS9 and the max.
