What do the keydance codes mean
i have a 2006 dodge caravan and my engine light is on the man. said if its not flashing then it could be loose gascap or bad gas to drive a few time to see if it would go off on its own .
well it is still on an i was looking for some help and came across the page about the keydance
i tryed it i got p0404 but how do i find out what that means?

P0404 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Range/Performan
The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system's purpose is to redirect exhaust gas back into the cylinders.If the PCM determines that the valve should be operating, but the feedback circuit shows that the valve is not open,or in a wrong position, this code will show up. Most likely what's happened, is the EGR valve is all carboned up inside and is not functioning properly.It's staying open all the time. I would start with replacing the EGR valve. The EGR is located on the front of the front cylinder head, and has a tube that runs to the top of the plenum.
The other reasons for a P0404 according to the manual are
GOOD TRIP EQUAL TO ZERO
HIGH RESISTANCE IN 5 VOLT SUPPLY
EGR SOLENOID CONTROL CKT
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
EGR SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
EGR SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
EGR ASSEMBLY (GROUND)
PCM
TEST ACTION

3.3L engine 2006 dodge caravan runs good, idles good,no stalling sometimes when pushing on the gas it feels like it is sputtering just alittle any info would be great and thank you for your help so far.
How does it run? Does it idle okay? does it stall?
