Screws holding the drive won't loosen.
How can I get the screws holding the optical drive out? They seem to be stuck.

Make sure your screwdriver bit fits all the way down into the screw. For tight screws I like this driver because the diameter of the handle is twice the size of standard drivers and allows much more torque to be applied: 26 Bit Driver Kit
