How do i make it turn on i have not used it for four months ,tried charging it now what is next

So you tried charging it but it does not charge? It may be time to replace the battery. also if you have, use a firewire AC adapter, they do have a bit more amperage than a USB port. The USB may not charge a battery once it is deeply discharged. Select (center) button and menu at the same time should start it if the battery is charged. Good Luck and let us know how it is going.
