Why will it start with the power adapter but not battery?
My mac will start with the power adapter, with or without battery, but it doesn't run on just the battery. The fan runs for maybe a minute, and then it shuts off. It recognizes the battery, the battery is charged, sometimes the 'status' light comes on sometimes it doesn't.
New battery, new adapter. Any ideas?
