I honestly cnt believe it work, thought It was all a bit of nonsense tapping your screen but thought what have I got to lose. So I tried it omg it work. I tap the right side of my IPAD 2 and was amazed it worked, the screen is even sharper than before. thank you all so much.....

My screen was also green a few minutes ago. I was horrified and saw this post. Tried tapping the bottom bit left and right and it works! And thinking I almost ran to the Apple store.. Thanks and it works!

I just followed the above advice as I dropped my ipad while it was in my back back hard onto the bottom of it and the display went green and drained too. I almost cried as I thought I had killed it but this knocking it onto a table has worked a treat and its back to normal. Thank you you so much!

Thanks guys, my little kid also dropped the ipad and the screen became green. And following your instructions, tapping the four corners of the iPad, it did work!!!!! Amazing. Very helpful this web. totally recommended

Can I check, does this work with the iPad 2??? I can't deduce from the above whether this only works with the iPad 1, or whether it works for both. Mine is a 2 and it's DRIVING ME NUTS!! Thanks :)

After dropping my iPad 2 earlier this evening and having the same green screen result, I tried the fix and it worked fine. I took the iPad out of it's case, sat down, and smacked the upper right corner (holding it with the Home button at the top) against my knee. I didn't have to hit it particularly hard and it's now working fine. Thanks everybody.

thanks! i tried tapping the corners, but that did not work. however, dropping it from two inches high did work! i dropped it so that the leading edge (where the power button resides) took the impact. instant resuts for this ipad2. thanks!

My granddaughter dropped my iPad last weekend thought there was nothing I could do but get a new one. Read your suggestion and thought what the $@#! I have nothing to loose so tapped the bottom right hand corner . Instant fix magic. Thanks so much . Can't believe it was so simple.
