My iPhone wont turn on unless on the charger

History

my iphone 3gs (which has no water damage) will only turn on when plugged into a charger. i have already tried a new battery and a new charging port as well to no avail. any ideas?

I would test a different battery from a different vendor, and leave it plugged into the wall for a day to see if that helps.
