My MBP does not go off, BUT RESTART

MacBook Pro 17" Models A1212

Immediately restarts every time I try to shut it down or put on stand-by, if I close the screen continues to reboot without stopping. The only way to shut it down is to hold down the power button.

If I try to shut down the terminal, the result does not change, it will restart immediately.

Groped to solve the problem, I tried everything I knew, the brief summary:

- I have repaired the hard drive with the appropriate utilities, and the program has reported that it had repaired some areas. - I have repaired permissions

- I formatted (Snow Leopard) by initializing the disk.

- I did all the upgrades I noted that the system automatically

- I reset the PRAM (x 3 times) and the SMC.

- I replaced the RAM

I did the hardware test and it gave me this result:

4M0T/1/40000002: Left side

At this point I do not know what to do, I can take it apart, but I have not the faintest idea what kind of hardware could cause such a thing.

Note that for the rest of the machine works perfectly.

Thank you in advance for your attention.

I suspect that one of your fans has failed. Download and run smc fan control and see what it tells you: http://download.cnet.com/smcFanControl/3...

ok, I'll try as soon as possible, but that relationship may exist between warming and the fact that it will not shut? I have confirmed that the error code from the hardware test, refers to the fan left who does not work, but how this may affect the shutdown?
