Does this model often have bad capacitor problems

I have heard that this particular model has bad caps. Is this the main reason why the computer shuts down repeatedly?

See if your serial number (located on the bottom of your stand falls within these ranges:

The affected iMac G5 computers have serial numbers where the first 5 digits fall into the ranges noted below.

Serial Number ranges:

W8435xxxxxx – W8522xxxxxx

QP435xxxxxx – QP522xxxxxx

CK435xxxxxx – CK522xxxxxx

YD435xxxxxx – YD522xxxxxx

My iMac has a serial that begins with W8523 and I just discovered leaking capacitors on it, causing the computer to behave very erratically and only start up occasionally, so the problem seems to go outside the stated range.
