Are you looking at the verizon model James. because i change iphone 4s from black to white all the time and the only deference between the two is the paint thats it
They are different. The cameras are two different models, the proximity sensor is slightly different, the hole for the proximity sensor is slightly larger, the headphone jack and dock connector is white on the white model, black on the black model.
