Are you talking about the bay in the lower right corner (closest to you)? I had to go look at mine to jog my memory. I have a DVD drive in that slot. I do remember that there was a blank insert, but no door. You can add another battery into that slot or a VST hard drive or a floppy drive or the DVD.
