After bootcamp aborted installation mac become no bootable with Alt

History

After an aborted bootcamp installation with a early WinXP (I've selected partition but i didn't formatted just aborted the installation) my mac became no able to boot. Only make the sound but the apple logo never appear and i can't choose any media with Alt key pressed, and can't start from a dvd installation by pressing C. Any idea of what kind of problem had my mac? I've inside all my data :-(

Thanks machead3 this key combination doesn't work also but I've repaired it with TestDisk and another computer.

TestDisk saved all of my data. Thanks

Try a command-option-P-R

3x (holding these keys down at startup resets PRAM) followed by holding down the alt(option) key, which should bring up a firmware screen showing you your OSX volume, Win volume and/or install DVD/CD.

Choose install disk running DISKUTILITY-> Repair Disk then Repair Permissions, (do not run installer) use STARTUP DISK to choose the Mac partiton and then reboot.

Good Luck,

N.
