Bought a broken iPod, will the logic board work?

I've broken the charger port on my ipod classic 6th gen 160gb, and have bought a faulty ipod classic 5th gen 30gb with the following description:

"IPod is faulty & heavily scratched

Battery does not hold any charge

Smashed screen

HDD just clicks

Also the lock on the screen connector on main board is broken

IPOD only"

My question is whether I will be able to use the logic board from this in my 6th gen ipod?

I believe that only the headphone jack, the hold switch and the hard drive and the cable are compatible. The cables are different and offset as well as the screen and frame are different. So I do not think that your 30gb logic board will do. Looks like you need to get a different one for your Classic. Sorry, wish I could give you better news, but good luck to you.
