iPod video battery doesn't charge after replace

History

I bought the battery from ifixit and the previous battery charged fine???

the new battery shows charging but it doesn't.

Battery cable wasn't locked down,I fixed it.

all you have left is to accept your own answer so we know your case is resolved. Good job in double checking :-)
